Isaiah 61
The Year of the LORD's Favor
1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,
2 to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness
instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.
This is the year of the Lord's favor.
Eternal Salvation
Old and New Testaments of the Bible is the inspired word of God. There is only One God, the everlasting, self- existent, Living God. He is the Father, the Word made flesh –Son Jesus Christ, and God Holy Spirit, God the Trinity; not three gods, but One. Jesus is the Light of the world. God sent him as the Christ – Messiah, the Savior of the world. He is the only begotten Son of God ( God’s means to save the world from sin and eternal death). Jesus came in the flesh, incarnated, through the virgin birth was born in a manger; his purpose of coming was to bring salvation to Mankind, to deliver human souls from the cruel bondage of sin. Those who believe in His name have Eternal life. Jesus the Son of God is fully God and fully human, perfect and has no sin. He is the sacrificial Lamb of God whom Father God prepared to bear all the sins of Mankind. He suffered and died in your place as you on the cross, and was buried in a tomb. According to Bible prophecy Jesus rose from the dead on the 3rd day, ascended to heaven, now sited at the right hand of the Father. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” (John 3: 16-17) It is not God’s will for Mankind to perish, bound by sin and suffer eternal death and separation from Him. His will is for all Mankind to be delivered form bondage to sin and death, that they may have His Eternal Life. According to God's promise, "If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified (declared by God as righteous), and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him shall never be put to shame.” For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10: 9-10, 13)
How to receive Salvation from God?
Pray to tell Him sincerely from your heart in truth and in spirit that you want to accept His salvation.
Prayer of Salvation:
Heavenly Father God, thank you for Your love for me! I believe you are the Creator of heavens and the earth. Thank you for sending me Your only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, the word of God incarnated in the flesh, who came to the world to die for my sins in my place as me, crucified on the cross, and suffered my sins punishment on my behalf. I confess I have sinned against You, in big or small ways; in actions and words, not able to fulfill Your perfect Righteousness and moral standards. Please forgive me of all my sins, cleanse me with the blood of Jesus. Lord Jesus, I open up my heart to you. According to Your promise in the Bible, I now confess, “Jesus, You are my Lord, the master of my life. I believe Father God raised you from the dead to give me Eternal life, and rescue me from sin and eternal death. I renounce every form of idol worship, hereby I take authority in Jesus’ Name to break all binding vows and covenants made with them. I come into covenant with the blood of Jesus, for I now belong to God’s Eternal kingdom. By Your promise I believe with my heart and am justified, and with my mouth confession I am saved. Your Scripture says he who believes in Jesus shall not be ashamed; whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. I am now a child of God. Thank you for saving me, and my family, too. We are now blessed for a thousand generation. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, guide me to walk in Your way of righteousness. In Jesus’ Name I pray, amen.
